N611FR is a Frontier Airlines Airbus A321-271NX, serial 11204, built in 2023 and registered to Bank of Utah as trustee from 2023. The aircraft was unveiled at a celebration at Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in San Juan, Puerto Rico, carrying an endangered-species tail design, which Frontier noted was the 41st aircraft in its fleet to wear such a livery. In an unrelated incident, flight FFT1759, which originated at Charlotte Douglas International Airport, was operated by N611FR with 226 passengers onboard and was evacuated due to a strong odor, after which the plane was removed from service for two days. Third-party fleet tracking lists the airframe as stored from March 2025 to November 2025, which lines up with Stabilator's own record of a 33-day stay at Pinal Airpark, though that stop is best read as a likely temporary storage layover rather than a confirmed retirement. Since then the jet has moved through Las Vegas, Denver, Las Vegas again, Cancún and Chicago O'Hare, and its most recent recorded chapter has it at Detroit Metropolitan, still ongoing.
Livery guess: Frontier Airlines endangered-species livery (Bori the Coquí Llanero). Snippets describe N611FR's unveiling with a Puerto Rico-dedicated endangered-species tail design as the 41st such aircraft in Frontier's fleet
