Data sources
Stabilator Aircraft Intelligence aggregates public and third-party sources. Each source has different refresh cadence, coverage, and licensing terms.
FAA Aircraft Registry
Official U.S. civil aircraft registration identity, status, and publicly releasable ownership fields. Registration data is an official public record; it is not observed flight activity.
NTSB
National Transportation Safety Board accident and incident records when confidently matched to an aircraft identity. Matching may contain uncertainty; absence of a listed record does not prove absence of events.
ADS-B observations (ADSB.lol)
Flight activity and historical track data are derived from the adsb.lol globe_history database, made available under the Open Database License (ODbL) 1.0. Stabilator’s derived aircraft analytics and summaries are based on those source observations. They are not an official record, tach/Hobbs time, or airworthiness evidence.
Airports
Airport names, ICAO/IATA codes, and location labels come from public airport reference datasets used to annotate detected origins and destinations when confidence thresholds are met.
